Run Honouree Nomination Process

Each year we choose a child to be our Run Honouree. New for 2019, for the first time we are seeking nominations for this year’s Run Honouree. 
 
In keeping with the spirit of the Rebecca Run for SMA, a Run Honouree and their family should meet certain criteria in order to be considered as the Run Honouree.
 
Criteria to be the 2019 Rebecca Run Honouree:

1. A child living with or lived with SMA.
2. Families need to strive to create and enter a team on run day in support of their Honouree. In the past, many of our largest teams have been our honouree family.
3. Families are willing and committed to fundraise for the Rebecca Run for SMA.
4. Families should be willing to spread the word and advocate for the Rebecca Run for SMA and Cure SMA Canada.
5. Have fun and celebrate the life of their nominee on run day.

 
If you know a child who you feel would be an ideal 2019 honouree, we want to hear from you and hear their story!
